Our Mission Statement: The Divorced Dad’s Dojo exists to provide divorced dads with resources and training to help them navigate and overcome the circumstances in which they find themselves, so that they can stand tall as men and as fathers before the mirror, before society, and most importantly, before their children.

“As I watched drops of my blood spatter on the sidewalk, and heard the gang members laugh around me, I wondered if, in a few moments, I would be dead, or fighting for my life in an ambulance. I took comfort in the fact that I had been an example to my children of persevering through adversity and of standing against evil.”—Jon Klement
In 2012, so-called “child support” left Jon Klement and his children with less than $300 a month in net income, leaving them homeless since their rent alone was $400. In 2016, at a Missouri State Supreme Court review of the so-called “child support” system, a Missouri State Supreme Court Justice pronounced on the record that what had happened to the Klements was, in his opinion, Jon’s fault for “not making enough money”.

Today, Jon is a pastor, an author, and an NLP coach who shares his experiences and the lessons he’s learned to help others.
